Sometimes Behave So Strangely
"If" made me think of this piece from Radiolab. We listened to this in my sound design class last semester and then all made songs by cutting and looping spoken audio. I made one out of one of my own poems. I will find it and post it. I would love to hear some others, if anyone else wanted to try it out. Jamie, do you have one already?

ReplyDeleteOk, so it's not my poems but -- on my (ugh) MySpace there are two movements from a suite called Dusk in Arcadia that I wrote a few years ago: the first movement is composed entirely (with the exception of the flute at the end) of signal-processed recordings I made of my body movements (mostly through the use of a few contact microphones that I'd built). The second movement is composed entirely (with the exception of the environmental sounds at the end) of signal-processed recordings of my voice.
